Ingredients
- 4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 1 (6 oz) box stuffing mix (such as chicken-flavored stuffing)
- 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth or water
Instructions
- Prepare the slow cooker
- Lightly grease the slow cooker insert or spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
- Layer the pork chops
- Arrange the pork chops in a single layer on the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Mix the stuffing
- In a bowl, combine the stuffing mix and chicken broth (or water).
- Stir until the stuffing is evenly moistened.
- Add the soup
- Spread the condensed cream of chicken soup over the pork chops.
- Top with stuffing
- Spoon the prepared stuffing mixture over the soup-covered pork chops.
- Cook
- Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 2½–3½ hours, until the pork is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Serve
- Spoon the stuffing and sauce over the pork chops and serve hot.
Tips
- For extra flavor, add sliced onions or mushrooms before cooking.
- Cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup can be substituted for cream of chicken.
- Serve with green beans, peas, or a simple side salad for a complete meal.
