1. Alabama White Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup buttermilk
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp spicy brown mustard
- 2 tsp prepared horseradish
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients until smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve with grilled chicken, pork, or as a dipping sauce.
2. Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce
Ingredients:
- ½ cup yellow mustard
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp liquid smoke
- 6 dashes hot sauce (or to taste)
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp water (to mix with cornstarch)
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine all ingredients except cornstarch and water over medium heat.
- Stir constantly until the mixture begins to simmer.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl to form a slurry.
- Stir slurry into the sauce and simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened.
- Let cool and store in an airtight container. Use on pork, chicken, or burgers.
3. Fireball BBQ Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 cup ketchup
- ⅓ cup Fireball whisky
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp pepper jelly
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir continuously until butter melts and ingredients combine.
- Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let cool before using. Great for ribs, wings, or grilled meats.
4. Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients:
- 6 tbsp salted butter
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1¼ cups heavy whipping cream
- 1½ cups whole milk
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions:
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes.
- Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
- Gradually whisk in the cream and milk. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in garlic powder and salt. Slowly add Parmesan, stirring until smooth.
- Let sauce simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring often until thickened.
- Serve over fettuccine or your favorite pasta.
