1. Alabama White Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp spicy brown mustard
  • 2 tsp prepared horseradish
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  4. Serve with grilled chicken, pork, or as a dipping sauce.

2. Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup yellow mustard
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp liquid smoke
  • 6 dashes hot sauce (or to taste)
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp water (to mix with cornstarch)

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients except cornstarch and water over medium heat.
  2. Stir constantly until the mixture begins to simmer.
  3. Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl to form a slurry.
  4. Stir slurry into the sauce and simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Let cool and store in an airtight container. Use on pork, chicken, or burgers.

3. Fireball BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ⅓ cup Fireball whisky
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp pepper jelly
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir continuously until butter melts and ingredients combine.
  3. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool before using. Great for ribs, wings, or grilled meats.

4. Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 6 tbsp salted butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1¼ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1½ cups whole milk
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes.
  2. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
  3. Gradually whisk in the cream and milk. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in garlic powder and salt. Slowly add Parmesan, stirring until smooth.
  5. Let sauce simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring often until thickened.
  6. Serve over fettuccine or your favorite pasta.
