Flaky Breakfast Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
3/4 cup milk

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Pour in the milk and stir until just combined.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface, gently fold it a few times to create layers, then shape it into a round loaf.
Place the dough on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Serve warm with butter and jam for a delightful breakfast!
