This is mac & cheese to die for! I absolutely love this recipe. I bring it to neighborhood parties and everyone always wants the recipe.
A creamy mac and cheese loaded with bacon, cheddar, and a crispy topping.
You Will Need:
12 oz elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup Parmesan cheese
1 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
½ cup breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk until thickened.
Stir in cheddar and Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper. Combine with cooked pasta and bacon.
Transfer to the baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
