Holiday Pecan Pie Dip

Holiday Pecan Pie Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup light corn syrup

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 ½ cups chopped pecans (toasted for extra flavor)

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional: 2 tablespoons bourbon for a deeper flavor

Dippers (serve with any of these):

  • Graham crackers

  • Apple slices

  • Shortbread cookies

  • Vanilla wafers

  • Cinnamon sugar pita chips

 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter. Stir until butter is melted and the mixture is smooth.

  3. Remove from heat. Let cool for a few minutes, then whisk in the vanilla, eggs, salt, and bourbon (if using).

  4. Stir in the chopped pecans.

  5. Pour the mixture into a greased small baking dish (an 8×8-inch pan or similar size works well).

  6. Bake for about 25–30 minutes, or until the top is set and golden brown.

  7. Let it cool for 10–15 minutes before serving (it will thicken as it cools).

 Make-Ahead Tips:

  • You can make this a day ahead. Reheat gently in the oven at 300°F for 10–15 minutes.

  • Also great at room temperature!
