Ingredients
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• ½ cup white sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp salt
• 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 cup caramel bits or soft caramels (melted) with some pecans
• Optional: Sea salt flakes for topping
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13” baking dish.
Cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until fluffy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.
Fold in 1 cup chocolate chips.
Spread half the dough into pan. Drizzle melted caramel over it. Top with remaining dough.
Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
Bake 25–30 minutes, until golden brown. Cool before slicing.
