Ingredients:
8 slices white sandwich bread, crusts removed
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley (optional)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin until thin.
3. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on one end of the bread and roll tightly into a log.
4. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic and parsley.
5. Place rollups seam side down on the baking sheet. Brush tops with garlic butter mixture.
6. Sprinkle with Parmesan if desired.
7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
8. Serve warm and enjoy!
