Ingredients:
– 1/2 cup warm water
– 1 tablespoon borax powder
– 1 to 2 tablespoons clear glue (Elmer’s or similar)
– Food coloring or liquid watercolors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)
Directions:
1. Start by mixing the warm water and borax powder in a bowl. Stir it well until it’s completely dissolved.
2. Next, divide this borax solution into several cups, one for each vibrant color you want. Add a few drops of food coloring or liquid watercolor to each cup and give it a good stir.
3. In small containers, pour in 1-2 teaspoons of clear glue for each color. Add a drop of food coloring to each and mix to create your colorful glue mixtures.
4. Slowly pour each colored glue mixture into its corresponding borax solution. Watch as the glue starts to solidify when it meets the borax!
5. Now comes the fun part! Use your hands to squeeze and shape each colored mixture into little balls. If they get sticky, simply dip them back into the solution and keep shaping.
6. Once you have a few small, colorful balls, gently press them together to create one large, rainbow bouncy ball.
7. Finally, let your creation dry for a few hours. This will help improve its bounce and durability!
