Power Detox Tea with Garlic, Turmeric, and Guava Leaf

Ingredients:

  • 1 small clove garlic, crushed

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder or 1/2 inch fresh turmeric

  • 1/4 small onion, sliced or a few pieces (red onion is best)

  • 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced or grated

  • 1 stick cinnamon (or 1/2 tsp ground)

  • 4–5 guava leaves (fresh or dried)

  • 2 cups water

  • Optional: honey or lemon for taste

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, add the water and all ingredients.

  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 10–15 minutes.

  3. Strain and sip warm.
