The easiest homemade slime recipe

Ingredients:
1 (5-ounce) bottle of clear or white school glue
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon saline solution
Food coloring or liquid watercolors (optional)
Glitter (optional, for extra sparkle)

Instructions:
Prepare the Base:
Mix the Glue: Pour the entire bottle of glue into a medium-sized mixing bowl. If using food coloring or glitter, add a few drops of color or a sprinkle of glitter to the glue and stir until evenly distributed. Start with 2–3 drops of food coloring and adjust to your desired shade.
Add Baking Soda: Stir in the baking soda until fully combined. This helps thicken the mixture and sets the stage for the slime to form.

Transform into Slime:
Activate the Slime: Add the saline solution one teaspoon at a time, stirring continuously. As you mix, the slime will begin to pull away from the sides of the bowl and form a sticky blob.

Knead It Out: Once the slime starts holding together, use your hands to knead it on a clean surface. If it feels too sticky, add a tiny bit more saline solution (a drop at a time) while kneading until the slime reaches the perfect consistency—stretchy but not overly wet.

Play and Store:
Get Creative: Stretch, squish, and shape your slime to your heart’s content! Add more glitter or small beads for extra flair if desired.

Store Properly: When playtime is over, store the slime in an airtight container or resealable plastic bag to keep it fresh and prevent drying out.
