Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients:

• 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• 4 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 cup heavy cream

• 1/2 cup chicken broth

• 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 1/4 tsp black pepper

• 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

• 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

• 1 tbsp butter (optional for extra richness)

Instructions:

1. Cook the Chicken:

• Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

• Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

• Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

2. Make the Creamy Sauce:

• In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

• Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to release any browned bits.

• Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

• Add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.

3. Combine Chicken and Sauce:

• Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the creamy sauce.

• Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat the chicken through and let the sauce thicken.

4. Optional Final Touch:

• For extra richness, add 1 tbsp of butter to the sauce, stirring until melted and combined.

5. Serve:

• Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, rice, or veggies.
