Ingredients:

4 medium apples, peeled and sliced

2 large eggs

1/2 cup sugar (or adjust to taste)

1 cup flour

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup butter, melted

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

A pinch of salt

Powdered sugar for garnish

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a round cake pan with parchment paper.

2. Prepare Apples: Slice apples into thin wedges and set aside.

3. Make Batter:

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and frothy.

Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Sift in flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Mix until a smooth batter forms.

4. Assemble Cake:

Spread the apple slices evenly in the prepared cake pan.

Pour the batter over the apples, ensuring they are covered.
