Sweet Potato Rocambole with Minced Meat

Ingredients for Sweet Potato Rocambole:

Make sure you have everything ready:

4 cups of cooked and mashed sweet potato

2 tablespoons of butter

1/4 cup of  milk

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups of sautéed ground beef

1/4 cup of chopped parsley

1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup of breadcrumbs

Step-by-Step Preparation:

Step 1: Prepare the Sweet Potato Dough

In a large bowl, mix the sweet potato with butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir until a smooth dough forms.

Step 2: Roll Out the Dough

On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about 1 cm thick.

Step 3: Add the Filling

Spread the sautéed ground beef evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Step 4: Add Herbs and Cheese

Sprinkle the parsley and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the meat filling.

Step 5: Roll the Rocambole

Carefully roll the dough into a log, starting from the longer side.

Step 6: Bake the Rocambole

Place the rocambole on a buttered baking tray. Brush it with melted butter and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 7: Serve and Enjoy!

Let the rocambole cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and savor the flavors!
