Classic Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream

Recipe:

Ingredients:

2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Instructions:

Prepare the Base:
In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved, about 5 minutes. Do not allow the mixture to boil.
Add Vanilla:
Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Chill the Mixture:
Once cooled, cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to enhance flavor and texture.
Churn the Ice Cream:
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, about 20-25 minutes, until thick and creamy.
Freeze:
Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Serve:
Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy your delicious homemade vanilla ice cream.
